Your files

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your web browser. The videos, images and GIFs you open are read by your browser on your device, converted there, and offered to you as a download. They are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else’s, and we cannot see them. Screen recordings made with the Record your screen button are also created and kept in your browser’s memory only.

Nothing you open is stored by the site. When you close or reload the page, the file, its preview and the GIF you made are released from memory, except for any GIF you chose to download, which is saved on your device.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in short-lived server logs for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools people use and how they find the site. It records pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not receive your files, their names or their contents.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics cookies are off by default, and Google Analytics receives only cookieless measurements that cannot be tied to you across visits. Everywhere else, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell visits apart. You can block these at any time through your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Google’s own handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.

Advertising

The site does not currently show ads or use advertising trackers. If that changes, this page will be updated before it happens.
